Abstract

Both the ten-minute and the one-hour resazurin tests were compared with the "modified" methylene blue test, the standard plate count at 37 degrees C., the direct microscopic count, and the leucocyte count. Neither of the resazurin tests has any advantage over the "modified" methylene blue test for the examination of milk received at depots.
