Flock management to control fluorosis of merino sheep in QueenslandExport / Share Harvey, J.M. (1953) Flock management to control fluorosis of merino sheep in Queensland. Queensland Journal of Agricultural Science, 10 (3). pp. 127-159.
AbstractAn investigation was made to determine how fluorosis in merino sheep could be alleviated by variations in the time of exposure to and protection from fluorided water. As a result of this study, together with findings recorded previously by the author, a system of flock management is recommended. The system is based on the presence or provision of alternative fluorine-free water, but enables the maximum use of fluorided water with the minimum of damage to sheep.
