Abstract

Commercial formulations of 11 insecticides currently used on tomatoes were evaluated in the field for ovicidal activity against the tomato grub, Heliothis armiger (Hubner). The highest ovicidal effect was shown by methomyl while acephate and DDT were not ovicidal.
