AbstractEstablishment of a Guinea grass/centro mixture was improved by applying herbicides to control broadleaved weeds before sowing. Herbicides tested were 2, 4-D amine, 2, 4-D ethyl ester, 2, 4-D butoxy-ethanol ester, monuron, prometryne, diquat and a diquat/paraquat mixture.
