Abstract

This assessment provides a review of the original vulnerability assessment of the Queensland Coral Fishery (QCF)completed in 2007. The assessment has been designed as a pre-assessment tool to review the ecological risk assessment of the QCF. The vulnerability assessment identifies key sustainability issues and species requiring further assessment. The assessment ranked 220 coral and anemone genera for aspects of their biology and ecology likely to render them vulnerable to harvesting activities carried out in the QCF.
