Abstract

All 8 accessions of Australian Musa which included 5 Fe'i varieties were highly resistant to yellow Sigatoka disease (Mycosphaerella musicola), as were the 2 AAT accessions. Six of the 7 ABB accessions were highly resistant and also 4 of the 7 AAAA hybrids. The resistance and susceptibility of all the other accessions to the disease are tabulated.
