Abstract

Green panic responded linearly to rates of 0, 2, 4 and 6 cwt of sulfate of ammonia/ac. There was no yield response to superphosphate at 1, 2 and 3 cwt/ac. The maximum annual yield recorded was 10, 600 lb DM/ac. About 80% of production from all treatments occurred in the warm months of the year.
