Passlow, T. and Giesmann, K.J. (1978) Fumigation of Contarinia sorghicola (Coq.) diapausing larvae. Queensland Journal of Agricultural and Animal Sciences, 35 (2). pp. 89-90.

Contarinia sorghicola (Coq.) may be introduced into sorghum in the field in uninfested areas with transported sorghum grain, since sound grain may carry diapausing larvae in damaged florets which are attached.
