Abstract

The effect of field planting times on yield and leaf quality were studied in the varieties, Hicks 046 and Sirone 2, between 1976 and 1978. Early winter (EW), late winter (LW) and mid spring (MS) plantings were made each year as well as a mid autumn (MA) planting in 1978.
