Abstract

A study was conducted on the susceptibility of eucalyptus plants to the cut-stump application of glyphosate following pre-commercial thinning operations. The selection of trees for thinning was primarily based on tree size and straightness. The results showed that the treatment of cut-stumps with herbicides resulted in substantial damage to the retained stems.
