Abstract

The remarkable range of structural variation among the leaf-feeding thrips of the genus Leeuwenia is discussed and contrasted with the lack of intra-generic diversity exhibited by the leaf-feeding species of the related genus Liothrips. An identification key is provided to the eight species of Leeuwenia known from Australia, including three newly described species. Copyright © 2021 Magnolia Press.
