Abstract

This paper reports on the incidental necropsy findings of a larval infestation of Tracheomyia macropi in an eastern grey kangaroo, Macropus giganteus, from a wild population in southeast Queensland, Australia, during early spring 2014. In total, 12 third-stage larval instars of T. macropi were found in the tracheal bifurcation of the affected kangaroo, with associated pathological alterations.
