A key to the larvae of four genera of noctuid moths; Agrotis, Heliothis, Pseudaletia and Spodoptera (Brown and Cantrell, 1978) is expanded to include Mythimna and Persectania. A key to the μupae of these genera is given, including a key for the separation of some species of the genera Agrotis, Mythimna, Persectania and Spodtoptera.
