Abstract

Results are reported for 28 insecticide formulations used in screening trials against the major leaf-eating tobacco pests, Phthorimaea terrella Walk., Plusia argentifera Guen., and Heliothis species (H. armigera (Hubn.) and H. punctigera Wall.) The most efficacious
materials respectively were azinphos-ethyl, "Cyolane" and DDT.
