Abstract

4 sources of fertilizer N: ammonium nitrate, ammonium sulphate, sodium nitrate and urea were tested for 1 year on a pure Kikuyu grass sward at Millaa Millaa at rates of 0, 50, 100, 200 and 400 lb N/ac per year. Cattle grazed the sward before trimming after harvesting.
