Abstract

Five Merino sheep and five Angora goats, all approximately 9 months old, were run together on non-irrigated pasture in the Lockyer Valley of south-eastern Queensland. Bodyweight and fibre production were recorded for 18 months, when the animals were slaughtered and the carcasses appraised.
