Abstract

Amiben was used safely as a pre-emergence herbicide in navy beans, but 2, 4-D, 2, 4-DES, CP 31675 (a-chloro-6-t-butyl-o-acetotoluidide), G 36393 and linuron were toxic to the crop. No treatment significantly reduced the population of Commelina benghalensis.
