Abstract

Liveweight gain on standard Guinea grass (Panicum maximum) and on the cultivars Hamil, Colonaio and Embu was studied from 1968 to 1971 in Queensland, with Brahman cross bullocks grazing at 4.94/ha in the wet season and 2.47/ha for the rest of the year.
