Abstract

N fertilizer as urea significantly increased the number of reproductive tillers and the yield of harvestable seed. There was no response to P, or any N X P interaction. 0, 50 and 100 lb N/acre gave mean seed yields of 11.86, 22.37 and 27.53 lb/ acre, respectively.
