Abstract

Superphosphate application markedly improved the establishment of Centrosema pubescens and Stylosanthes gracilis [guyanensis] each grown in a mixture with Panicum maximum; the first 2 cwt/ac produced the greatest effect. Responses of grasses and weeds to P far exceeded those of legumes.-F.A.S.
