Abstract

Reexamination of Oidium stachytarphetae, the only powdery mildew recorded with Stachytarpheta as host, supports its placement in Oidium subg. Pseudoidium. Data from the first reported specimens from Australia and New Caledonia supply additional information for an emended description of O. stachytarphetae.
