Abstract

“The Better Berries Program” was formed following intensive consultations with the Queensland strawberry industry. The program coordinates strawberry industry research and development. Its objective is a profitable, sustainable strawberry industry meeting the needs of consumers. Results have been outstanding with high adoption of research results by industry. The Better Berries Program has produced profitable, sustainable change in the strawberry industry, which is the desired objective of our research program.
